Welcome to UCLA's Programmer's Exchange Website. We are looking for a quick and easy way to spur coordination and sharing among UCLA programmers.

Please take a look at our Help Desk Directory and add your department's Help Desk if you run it. Otherwise tell your dept. Help Desk people about it. This is an attempt to get campus help desks talking to each other. - 28 Jan 2004

Please subscribe to this Help Desks List if you are an administrator, manager or staff supporting a UCLA Help Desk. This private email list will provide a quick way to disseminate and discuss help desk issues.

Notice two features on the menubar above.

  1. The Programmer's Directory, was created from the 1st Party RSVP Survey information. But anyone at UCLA can add themselves, edit their info or remove themselves by logging in with a BOL ID or URSA Pin Code. Please check it out, update your info, and let us know what you think.
  2. The Wiki Site (wiki is Hawaiian for quick) is a place where you can edit existing pages (without learning HTML) and add new ones. Hopefully it will be a good place to keep notes as we learn different programming languages and tools. It also contains an archive of the UCLAprogrammers listserv.
By the way, the Private Area is restricted to UCLA domains, or those coming in via the BOL Proxy Server.

Getting everyone together to meet each other, is one of our goals.
